Hiking in Skoki

I just got back from an overnight trip to the Skoki area of Banff National Park. There were times during the weekend where I was overwhelmed that so much beauty could be only four hours away from where I live.
We hiked in about 6 or 7km and set up base camp. From there, we went exploring and managed to actually scramble up to the 2946m (9666ft.) peak of Fossil Mountain which was indeed covered with various coral/shell fossils.

This was really my first camping adventure in about 10 years and I'm pretty happy with my accomplishments with the Chiks. I'll try to post more pictures soon. Anyone up for some more trips to the Rockies?
