I'm alive. Can't stay online very long as the dial-up is on the same line as the phone. Beautiful place. Ranch is at the bottom of a valley. Riding two or more times a day; formal riding lessons will start in about a week after I'm more comfortable with the trails and the horses. It's rustic but gorgeous. Birds are everywhere - there is never a time when the air isn't filled with song.

Don't know when I'll be online again. Hope everyone else is doing well!

That sounds great, Gen! The instructor that I took my level one with told me once that the best way to gain balance and confidence in the saddle was to spend a lot of hours in it, and spend a lot of time goofing around and falling off. So I hope you're going to be doing a lot of that (though hopefully there won't be painful falling offs).

The dogs miss you!

I'm doing lots and lots of passenger lessons (with and without saddle). I love having access to an arena!

Not to mention a horse who you're not scared to start on passenger lessons with.

PS. Tammy is not planning to keep the stallion. Not that there's really a facility quality arena there, but it's something.

Time to bring Saber back to Edmonton? My mom said the other day that he misses going riding.
