Well, today is one of those days I feel tired and cranky and I need to complain. Placed behind a cut tag for your protection:
As much as I love teaching, today was a constant battle with the kids. Midterms start on Thursday and they seem to be more silly and talkative than ever before. Grr...
The weather has been an improvement. Instead of -40C (aka -40F), it was positively balmy at -15C. I'm still feeling housebound/stir-crazy, though. I need to get out and about. I was hoping to go to the mountains next weekend to visit the boy but it might all be foiled by my girl's basketball team having a tournament that weekend.
I just want a holiday. I didn't really get one at Christmas preparing for the new job and visiting with the boy. All I want is some time away from it all. Summer seems very far away at 5 month. Even spring holiday will be crazy busy with Japanese students visiting.
Do I deserve to complain? No. I'm actually pretty happy with my life. I'm just feeling tired and cranky and stressed. Bah.

Enjoy the nice weather in the latter part of this week. Give us a shout if you're looking for something to do.
*hugs*
I remember junior high. I remember an attractive social studies teacher. I remember her overhearing the other boys' lewd comments about the herself and she would leave the classroom crying. Yikes!
With spring coming up, teen hormornes are going into overdrive... Good luck!
