lindylousmith suggested that I post about these beautiful lights that I came across. The designer is Tord Boontje from the Netherlands. All his works, lighting and otherwise, have the same airy, delicate feel; I wish I had a place for some of it in my home. The Garland Light that you see is on permanent display at the MoMA in New York and at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.

There are at least two places I've seen his work being sold:
