- I went to my 10 year high school reunion a few weekends ago. I was slightly worried as I don't feel like I've accomplished very much in my life but, all in all, it was a fairly relaxed affair. The best part was seeing an old (ex?) friend and both of us seeking and finding reconciliation with each other.
- I've signed up for a Carpentry for Women course that I've been wanting to take for ages. Well, I actually wanted to take the power tools course but it started too early this fall. Uhm, I need to bring my own tools; while I've got a few things, they are asking for miter saws and chisels. Don't suppose anyone can lend me some tools?
- I'm loving my new teaching position at the outreach high school but I've found the workload to be quite heavy. My evenings are more or less occupied with correcting assignments and will remain like that until at least the first week of October. I miss my friends.
- A Canadian friend whom I know from Japan who went to Vietnam with me is visiting this weekend. This is a big deal because she's currently living and working/volunteering in Vietnam. I'm so excited; I just can't believe she'll actually be here. It doesn't matter how much correcting I have to do this weekend, I'll be spending some quality time with her.
- I've fallen in love with Langano Skies. Go, eat, and savor the Ethiopian experience. Oh. So. Good.
