Morsels for Hiking

Cut a dried date in half.
Fill with a bit of cream cheese and an almond.
It's as simple as that. I'm not sure where I heard about this snack but I recently bought the ingredients and tried it out. I think it would make a good snack on a day hike - a little sweet but fairly healthy.
Note to my housemates - I left some in the fridge for you to try out.
